God creates on this Earth

But how about the Earth?

Can man explain everything on the Earth, in the Earth, and about the Earth, leave alone, around the Earth?

We know there are physical laws and constants that govern everything on Earth and space. A simultaneous finetuning of these constants was required in such a way that everything fits well in the grand design of things. These physical constants that have been discovered by scientists to support physical equations and measurements certainly could not have come into finetuned existence instantaneously unless they were perfectly put there. None of these could have evolved from zero and arrived at the present value slowly and individually. All these had to be in place – all at the same time, and with the exact values – so that our earth exists as a single entity and co-exists with other heavenly bodies and sustains life.

(Maths in itself – its origin and existence – is an inexplicable wonder).

Some of the most widely recognized physical constants are the rationalized Planck's constant ħ, the gravitational constant G, the speed of light in a vacuum c, the electric constant ε0, the elementary charge e, and the fine-structure constant α. Physicists recognize that if these constants were significantly different from their current values, the universe would be so radically different that stars like our Sun would not be able to exist and intelligent life would not have emerged. –New World Encyclopaedia. Let us consider the laws of thermodynamics. Everything comes down. All order tends to break down as the entropy of a closed isolated system keeps increasing. The ‘wise men’ of this world have stated it themselves. Without an external agent, there will be chaos which is bound to increase when left unattended by an agent. Agent! If the earth moves a little further from its position in the solar system, it might cause all the water on our earth to freeze, resulting in no life on the earth. Alternatively, it might end up with all water disappearing as steam, again resulting in no life on Earth. Such is the placement of this earth in its solar family that it would be foolish for man to assume that this happened because of an uncontrolled big bang.

Was there a time (?) when a foundation was laid for this Earth so that it could come into existence and remain stable? Did someone lay this foundation? Did this someone take so much trouble and pay so much attention to the details that the outcome is what we observe with wonder and awe today? Is there a plan behind all of these? And, is there a purpose?

How did this order and organization come about? Who brought about this structure and periodicity? Who finetuned the Universe so that all physical constants were set to their exact values all at the same instant? Certainly, there should have been a designer. The Designer.

In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. – Gen 1:1.

Here is where we find God as the creator of time, space, and matter, which means He existed before these came into being. He created the Heaven as His throne. He created the Earth simultaneously as His footstool. – Mat 5:34, 35. He sits in Heaven (the third heaven as we know it, from the Earth) and stands on the Earth. Definitely, He should have paid great attention to the place where His feet rest and stand. The earth is where God set His foot on! Here is where the Son of God set His foot on, in His-story!
“Then the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy”- Job 38:7.

Here is God asking man, “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if you have understanding. Who has laid the measures thereof, if you know? Or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? Or who laid the cornerstone thereof;”– Job 38:4-7.

God laid the foundations of the earth. We need not dig deep down the earth to discover its foundations as is our custom. The very heaven He created and the water that His Spirit was moving upon stood as a stabilizing structure for this earth to remain in its position though it would not have been ready for human habitation then. “He hath made the earth by His power, He hath established the world by His wisdom and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.” – Jer 10:12. “God that made the world and all things therein” – Acts 17:24.

The Bible is silent about when water was created (and fire, as well) but it does mention that water was there in the beginning (and fire was in heaven), even before time. God should have created this water so that His one purpose of creating the present earth would be accomplished among mankind for whom this water would be essential. That the heaven, the earth, and water were created even before time suggests all natural elements starting from Hydrogen to Helium, Oxygen, Carbon, non-metals, metals, and metalloids came into being simultaneously; not as the scientists propound: chemical evolution took place to form higher elements from simpler ones.

God commanded the light to be on the earth on the first day of the creation week. (God is light; light should have existed alongside God eternally). God created the second heaven (the firmament / outer space) on the second day. So, the atmosphere, as we call it now, became the first heaven. He created the earth (also dust /soil – Silica and organic matter) by gathering together the water that covered the land unto one place and then created vegetation on the third day. He then created all the occupants of the second heaven – the sun, the moon, the planets, and the stars on the fourth day. God created the aquatic animals and the fowls of the air (first heaven) on the fifth day. God created the terrestrial animals and mankind (man and woman) on the sixth day. For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is – Exod 20:11. And God saw everything that He had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Gen 1:31.

Any alteration to the existing structures around this earth would lead to in its instability resulting in its complete destruction. For instance, any of the moons of the respective planets (Io being one of Jupiter’s) gets closer or farther (due to an asteroid or meteor strike?) from their mother planet might result in an alteration in the gravity of the respective planet triggering a cascading effect in the universe. This, in turn, would affect the stability and position of the earth.

“For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead” – Rom 1:20. God alone spreads out the heavens, and treads upon the waves of the sea. God makes Arcturus, Orion, Pleiades, and the chambers of the south. – Job 9:9.

God created everything through His Word, the Lord Jesus Christ. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. – John 1:3. “He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not” – Jn 1:10. “… Son, … by Whom also He made the worlds;” – Heb 1:2. For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him. – Col 1:16.

During the creation week, God commanded the dry land to appear by setting aside the waters which became the Ocean. This was the only ocean that existed. It is highly probable that the land that emerged existed close to the South Pole of the earth covering the regions of Sri Lanka, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Kerala might very well have been God’s own country originally! Havilah is India according to many historical and geological sources. One of the four rivers that is mentioned in Genesis 1 is supposed to be the Ganga (according to Josephus, a Jewish Historian). (Read Graham Hancock’s ‘Fingerprints of the Gods’ about this Pangea in detail).

Who is this God? What is He like? Why is He so obsessed with man?
