God's One Plan - The critical path and Uniqueness
Section I
The Critical tasks in God’s plan
• The preservation of the seed of the believing kind starting from Seth, the third son of Adam (born after Cain and Abel)
• The calling out of Abram (later, Abraham) as the patriarch who would head the believing generation among whom the Seed would be born
• Protecting the line (Isaac, Jacob / Israel, Judah, and his believing descendants) that would facilitate the identification of the Son of God when He would be born among them
• Preserving the chosen people that would include (1) the believing Jewish line (2) the called out from among the idolatrous pagans until the first advent of the Son of God on this earth and (3) the Church that is built by Him from then on until His return (a second time – Heb 9:28).
The uniqueness of His plan
• This certainly is not a “Thiruvilayadal” (Dante’s Divine comedy?) nor one of God’s many projects (though not strictly time-bound). It spans from eternity to eternity – before Time and after Time.
• The Scope includes all mankind (the believing and the unbelieving), spirit beings (loyal to God and the fallen), and, in fact, the entire creation. All tasks are well-defined, scheduled, and linked perfectly.
• Jesus Christ, the Divine Project Lead and Head, will not face a resource crunch – He is the source of all knowledge, wisdom, and power. He has His angels to do His bidding; above all, He has His believing people who are His workmanship that are committed to working with Him promptly, wholeheartedly, and willfully to accomplish His purpose.
• There is no review required of His plan – no PERT needs to be employed though the CPM has been already chosen.
• While there will be risks throughout the period of execution of His Plan (the Devil would always be after the believers to tempt and derail them from the purpose of God in their lives, however, always unsuccessful), these risks are already factored in because God, who originally drafted the plan, knows the end from the beginning. And, the end date is fixed!
• No issues can rise that will take Him aback – He has foreseen them; they don’t remain issues any more than the rest of the tasks, milestones, and other aspects of His Plan. God is in full control.
