Man rules over the woman! God has set this so for a peaceful family atmosphere to flourish here on earth. Upsetting this order will result in chaos in the marriage, the family, and the society-at-large.

Men and women are equal in the sight of God. Both are His creation. However, God recommends that the Man takes over the family as its head. The head of the woman is the man. God created man first! It is divine wisdom. However, the husband relies on his ‘help meet’ in running the family. She complements the man in all aspects. That is why God said that it is not good for man to be alone. However, the ultimate decision-maker in the family is the man. God has appointed the husband as the federal head of the family. It is dangerous when the wife tries to take over and relegate the husband. So is the case with any religious, social, business, or political institution. Deborah was a prophetess, a wise woman, and a mother but she set Barak in front when it came to war against Jabin’s army, honoring God’s order. There is a woman behind every man’s success!

God will gather His sons in glory. This also includes women. There is no difference between a man and a woman in Christ. Neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. As Jesus said, in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. – Matt 22:30. Sexual relationships would not be required to share intimate love. (There won’t be rivers flowing with wine and sixty-four seductive virgins per man in heaven! Alarmingly, thousands of young men have fallen for this deception and have become ’jihadists’ in Islam which qualifies them for direct entry). And everyone would exchange the ultimate kind of unconditional love with everyone else. Love would be the language of heaven, the new earth, and New Jerusalem.
