Enoch was a believer in the promise of God who should have learned about this promise from Adam with whom he could have lived for at least 300 years and with Seth, Adam’s son, his entire lifetime of 365 years. And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. – Gen 5: 21-24.

Enoch lived a life entirely different from the ones around him. He was a godly man. He pleased God. Others were ungodly sinners committing ungodly deeds and speaking against a righteous God as they were dying one after another. (God had forewarned that death is the consequence of sin).

“Dust thou art and unto dust shalt thou return” – Gen 3:19. Man’s body is predominantly organic; calcium phosphorous and other vital minerals (vitamins) are found in us too. We keep adding these to our body through our food which metabolises resulting in growth. Unfortunately, this metabolism seems to weaken after a certain period when one starts “ageing”. Natural death results when the body shuts down its organs. Man is either buried or cremated resulting in his returning to the dust. Many die in water but even their bodies decompose into organic material. There is coming a day when this body will be raised up naturally for the unbelieving and spiritually but tangible for the believing to receive the final “reward” – eternal death for the unbelieving whereas eternal life for the believing.

The gospel in the stars should have been handy evidence of the promise of God Enoch’s fathers were aware of. He believed what his contemporaries failed to believe. That is why, Enoch was able to prophesy about the second coming of the Son of God as the judge to execute judgement upon all unbelievers (Taurus, the raging bull / the wild Ox).

Enoch was representative of all believers who would strive to keep themselves unspotted by the corruption around them while living in this filth-filled world. As per Jesus, these are “in the world but not of the world”. They “lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and (let us) run with patience the race that is set before us” – Heb 12:1. They keep walking with God, learn what pleases Him and fashion their lives accordingly. A life pleasing to God and a normal life here on earth are not mutually exclusive – they can be one and the same. Prioritising God in one’s life normalises everything else around.

Is it possible to live a life pleasing God in a family atmosphere? Yes. It is not necessary that man should isolate himself from his wife, his family and friends and renounce the world to live a holy life as a sage (as some religions teach today). A godly man can live a completely normal family life and even keep begetting children while still walking with God. God instituted the family and He labels marriage as honourable and the intimate husband-wife relationship as undefiled. Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. – Heb 13:4.

Here are also a few important points to note:

(1) A homosexual relationship does not produce children and is against God’s design for the pro-creation and sharing of the real kind of intimate love. (The human body itself is incompatible with such a kind of relationship). Only a husband (man) wife (woman) intimacy brings out the right kind of love while all else is triggered and sustained (mostly only for a while) by lust.

The LGBTQ movement is ungodly to the core and is spawned by Satan himself. The Serpent’s seed keeps percolating the society incessantly and by including the “T” in this queue subtly, the Devil has managed to get approval and sponsorship for this shameful way of life for this entire LGBQ group from the top people in govt., (Article 377 of the Indian constitution has been peeled off as Victorian in nature), businesses (IBM was at the centre of such a global event and Microsoft, among others, is also becoming “inclusive”) and surprisingly from religion too. (Even the so-called mainline Christian Church has not only approved gay marriage but keeps appointing such filthy people as pastors and bishops showing that they support “homosexuality”). Result? LGBQ are today out in the open and has been conducting events and campaigns and public display of their “Pride”, shouting for social recognition. After all, the whole world has been sold out to Satan and so, does not need any arm-twisting methods to gain approval from the society of sin that advertises itself in various other names.

Satan has his own people in the medical research field who also publish such study reports of this lifestyle being a natural inclination because of their DNA makeup – different from the normal XX and XY Chromosome pattern that is specific to human beings. Such people seem to debatably possess gay genes (XXXX, XXY) that determine their sexual orientation. (http://vigilance.teachthefacts.org/2006/02/gay-chromosome.html). Alarmingly, https://www2.palomar.edu/anthro/abnormal/abnormal_5.htm also states that the genetic abnormality might also give individuals excuses to murder (and rape and steal and exhibit all sorts of anti-social behaviour?)

(2) A live-in relationship between a man and a woman who are not married to each other cannot be labelled any other way than plain sexual immorality, lasciviousness or adultery. God calls this living-in relationship sin. The judiciary might call it otherwise but the Judge of all calls it sin.

(3a) Naturally transgenders (eunuchs by birth) are a third gender the Bible does mention in many places. These are special creations of God; He even promises them an honourable place in society. For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep My sabbaths, and choose the things that please Me, and take hold of My covenant; even unto them will I give in Mine house and within My walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off. – Isa 56:4, 5. Children of the evil one set these special people alongside themselves purely to gain the approval of the society-at-large of their own ungodly and abominable lifestyle.

(3b) Individuals transgendered by force were usually dedicated to idol worship. However, God will accept them as His children if they believe, repent, turn around and trust His way of salvation for all mankind.

(3c) Transgendered voluntarily – whether physically or otherwise and for the Lord’s sake – are dedicating themselves wholly to the Lord for the extension of His kingdom. God honours such “called ones’” commitment and enables them to live a godly life amidst the temptations they face – Apostle Paul is a noteworthy example of this third kind (not physically transgender).

(4) God strictly condemns a sexual relationship between two married individuals (either or both) who are not married to each other as adultery (even a lustful eye!) and lists this alongside idolatry and murder. The stripping away of Article 496 from the Indian constitution and approval of this consenting relationship as legal by its Supreme Court does not necessarily make it legal in God’s eyes. What man sows, he shall reap!
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him. – Jude 1:14, 15.

Not only was Enoch a righteous man, he was also concerned about the people around him. He warned them about the impending judgement that they would have to face. He testified that God was not just a power but a real person Who sees everything happening among men and hears everything that is spoken by men and that He is powerful and has the right to punish those who lived an ungodly life. He prophesied that those who sin against God cannot escape His punishment. He was also sure that God has His own people that feared Him and that too, certainly not a few.

Again, the gospel in the stars hinted at this – Gemini, the twin. Christ, his Lord would call His people (who had put on His very image) Home by His second appearing. So, Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. – Heb 9:28

The Result? God performed an unprecedented act in Enoch’s life. God could not wait any longer. While everyone around Enoch kept dying, God raptured him and Enoch disappeared from the ungodly environment, even though he lived a shorter life here on earth than others before him – just 365 years! By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. – Heb 11:5.

It is not how long you live here on earth that matters but how you live your God-given years; this will determine your destiny. If you walk with God as His saint, pleasing Him and agreeing with Him in all aspects of your life, you will inherit eternal life and live with God forever. All believers, already physically dead, (the Bible calls this “sleep”), will rise with a glorious body; all believers alive at the time of Christ’s return, will receive transformed bodies and be caught up with the other saints to their heavenly destination. If you continue to live an ungodly life on earth, disobeying God and not heeding to His warning of unending death and separation from Life, you will face God’s judgement and wrath as you stand bodily before His Throne.
Still, on the trail of the Seed of the woman, Satan was clueless as to what would be the next step in God’s plan of bruising his head. Would he and his fallen army of angels have to lie in ambush to attack the woman unawares so that he could escape from his imminent defeat? Rev 12:4.
