Nimrod, the son of Cush was the grandson of Ham – one of the three sons who were saved by the Lord from the Flood by Noah’s ark. (Ham’s son Canaan was the carrier of the mutant gene to head today’s Thamizhar). He began to be a mighty one in the earth. – Gen 10:8. The Bible also continues He was a mighty hunter before the LORD – Gen 10:9. His name became so well known in history that it became a byword later as “Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord”. He also became a king. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. – Gen 10:10. Babel is modern-day Babylon and Erech is Uruk (Iraq?). Probably the other places mentioned here lost their importance and identity in the later days. But Asshur, another son of Ham went from here and built his own city Nineveh (Syria) which stands a witness to the historicity of Nimrod till day. Shinar in Southern Babylonia is the later day Chaldea. Sumerian and Assyrian civilizations with Thamizh as their language & culture flourished. Vel, Erkadu, Kalan, Chinnar, Siriya, Suran, Urukku?

Nimrod might have saved his fellowmen from the wild animals that started multiplying rapidly alongside the herbivores. The food pyramid was meaningless, at least in the early days of the post-flood era. The carnivore menace had to be controlled on a war footing. Nimrod succeeded in his endeavor and became a popular hero. He showed himself a benefactor and protector of the people, a king; the first king this side of the Flood.

Would Nimrod come in handy to check the advent of the Seed of the woman? Satan thought so and set out to defend himself.

Nimrod become so powerful and mastered all crafts of the time that he became a god. The god of the Babylonians. Marduk. He also introduced idol worship and polytheism. The following is stated in the fifth tablet of The Babylonian Epic of Creation: “Marduk made the station for the great gods; he fixed the stars, their images, as the stars of the zodiac. He ordained the year; he divided it into sections (mizrata/mazzaroth). He fixed three stars for the twelve months”. While this is reasonable, the Babylonians of the day still spoke Thamizh, the only language in use till then. And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. – Gen 11:1.

Marduk is suggested to be none other than Murugan, the god of the Marudham region of the Thamizhar. Marudhamalai (Marudhu’s Hill) in Coimbatore (South India) is considered one of the six abodes of Murugan. (Kovanpudur – a new settlement by Tharai-Kon). Thamizhar divided their land into five regions (thinai) scientifically based on the terrain, flora, and fauna of the landmass. Kurinji (mountain), Mullai (forest), Marudham (farmland), Neithal (seashore), and Paalai (desert). Marudhu set fire to the palm trees of the Mullai region to cultivate Thinai and Valli Kizhangu. Marduk was known for a dragon he had slain that had the head and tail of a snake, the horns of a goat, and the legs of the cock and peacock. Some researchers suggest that Marduk is himself the original dra-gon, the very word derived from Thamizh Tharai + Kon – King of the plains. Murugan (Nimrod) is said to have drawn the Solar Calendar (Kalam theri – Kalandheri – calendar) that would help in the planned cultivation of crops by the farming community that was emerging post the Flood. He named the twelve months of the year in Thamizh based on the respective star/constellation that falls on the same plane as the sun so that the sun seemed to move from house to house twelve times in a year in a complete cycle. He was an Aasevaha Sitthar (like Easwaran/ Sivan of old) who had mastered various arts and higher sciences and who was supposed to provide solutions to every problem of man on earth. Even today, the solar year that he put together is called the Sidereal (Siddhareal) year. (Interestingly, Sivan and Tammuz are names of months in the Jewish calendar even today!).

Murugan (Nimrod) is himself related to the Karthika constellation (Pleiades) and hence the name Karthikeyan. He is the seventh star that was born on the earth (and hence disappeared from the sky) from the six stars that are seen clearly today – originally the “seven sisters”. Hence the name Arumugam and Shanmugam. (Arappan, Harappa of Indus Valley, and Egyptian Remphan are the fallouts!).

Murugan advocated the worship of goddesses. He introduced the Seven Sisters (Saptha Kanniyar) who came to be worshipped progressively as Kali /Durga (Black attire), Neelambikai (Blue), Pachaiamma / Meenakshi (green), Lakshmi (Red), Mariamma (Yellow/ Gold), Saraswathi (White) and Gangai (Neervannam) (invisible/transparent). Again, this relates to the Pleiades constellation among which the seventh started disappearing from the naked eye in due course due to dimming. (Could it be because of the 23 ½ degree tilt to the earth’s axis that occurred during the great deluge of Noah’s time?)

The system and the color scheme that Murugan instituted for these goddesses is in line with the oldest known religion in the world – the religion of the Thamizhar called the Aasivaham (Asia as home (aham)). They called it a way of life because it encompassed the entire lifespan of a man (Paalan, Meeli, Maravon, Thiravon, Vidalai, Kaalai, and Mudhumahan). Progressing from the ignorant (black), man matures as he acquires knowledge and experience leading to the white (the Aasariyan (teacher) stage of life and then to the stage of no attire at all called the Nirvana (neer vannam) – the super-mature stage where man is supposed to have attained the capability to live purely for others. The same is applied to the various stages of life of a woman too. These are paavai, pedhumbai, mangai, madandhai, arivai, therivai and perilampen. Also, note that Buddhism and Jainism also talk about attaining the ultimate Nirvana in life which is samadhi (death) – hinting that these religions are the offshoot of the Thamizhar Aasivaham.

Aryan mythology says that Karthikeya was born from the third eye of Sivan which spat fire. Thamizhar who have gulped the stories of these temple priests, celebrate the star annually at Tiruvannamalai with a great deepam. (Nimrod himself is stated to have worshipped Fire as his god!).

Murugan advocated the worship of the phallus (Kandhu in Thamizh means pillar) and therefore is called Kandhan. This he did to encourage rapid population growth post the Flood. This phallus is still “erected” and worshipped in various forms all over the world. It is called Lingam, stupa, minaret, and obelisk elsewhere as a symbol of fertility. Many hillocks in South India are considered as natural phallus forms and abodes of Murugan.

Murugan is also said to have designed the weapon Vel based on the shape of the human sperm that had the penetrating power to conquer the human egg to procreate life. That is why the weapon is called the Sakthivel.

And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. – Gen 11:1. Then, when the population exploded, people started moving westward towards Mesopotamia, the land of two rivers – Euphrates and Tigris. This was a fertile land suitable for cultivation. They found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. – Gen 11:2. Purattu and Chinnar?

The first use of brick and slime in the place of stone and mortar is mentioned in the Bible in this context. People started building a tower (gopuram?) that would reach Heaven. The towers might have helped them reach a height to gaze at the sky and study the planets, stars, and constellations and learn the relationship between them and God’s original plan of redemption. And the idea (of the towers) being spawned by Satan? He would use people to impede the purpose of God by perverting the message in the stars. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. – Gen 11:6.

Gopurams (towers that will enable kings to sneak outside the world?) are typical Thamizh temple structures. They are found in every temple, some of the most inspiring are in Thiruvarangam, Thiruvilliputhur, and Perivudayar (Big) temple at Thanjavur. The Egyptians, Mayans, Incas, and Aztecs also had their own towers (Pyramids) for observation and astronomical research purposes. The gopurams also contain idols depicting gods, their consorts, and hosts. The diabolical spirit world would be much pleased to communicate with those who are seeking to connect with their dark kingdom in such a fashion. According to Dr. Kabilan, there are wormholes in these structures that are actually passageways for the spirits (and the spirit-possessed humans) to move between the physical and the spiritual world. Communicating with the spirit world would lead to humans being possessed by them (as the evil spirits are already seeking for a body/habitation to occupy) and executing the sinister plans of their head, the Devil. They would lead the gullible people astray and commit mass destruction of large populations spiritually and then physically too to the doomed destiny that is determined for them. This is yet another subtle attempt by Satan to pollute the human population with the seed of the Serpent. Spiritual gurus and yoga instructors, healers, and occult practitioners belong to this tribe.

God is all-knowing – Omniscient. He “confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech”, which was just the next step in the Lord’s plan. Confusion was unleashed, and the place has ever since been called Babel. So, the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. – Gen 11:8.

We read about a person named Peleg in the Bible a little after the time of Nimrod. For in his days was the earth divided; - Gen 10:25. His time is significant in His-story. It was during his days that Pangea broke up and continents (and today’s Oceans and Seas) came into being. Civilizations developed along the river basins and people who spoke a common language started dwelling together for obvious reasons. Huge portions of the original landmass sank under water. Pangea, Lemuria, or Kumarikandam, the erstwhile hub of human activity drowned along with its people – all Thamizhar. Kumbalaai Maritha Kandam (the continent that died en-mass) might have been the reason for its name.

Nimrod / Marduk / Marudhu whose forefathers were from Kumarikandam (Pangea) is also called Kumaran. Kumar and Kumari are suffixes, frequently used by Indians in their names. They later transformed to mean S/o or D/o and especially denoting a virgin / unmarried individual. Nimrod is supposed to have been born (kumaran?) to his wife Ishtar (the Assyrian goddess) as Tammuz which might have contributed to the name Thamizh for the language. Murugan is also supposed to have convened the second Thamizh Changam.

Scripture is silent on Nimrod post the confusion of the languages and the subsequent scattering of the people. He should have moved eastward leading his people in search of fertile lands and the lost continent. One group ended up in China, Japan, and Korea, and another in India, Srilanka, Indonesia, Cambodia (Angor Vat / Angoru Vattam), Java, and Bali. Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood. The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah. And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; everyone after his tongue, after their families, in their nations. – Gen 10: 1-5. The sons of Japheth and some of Shem became Europeans. A large population (under Gomer – Germany) moved north from Babel and another (under Meshech and Tubal – Russia) towards the northeast far up to Mongolia and Siberia. Tarshish is Modern day Britain.

The rest of the sons of Shem and those of Ham became Asians and Africans. Africa was the closest to Asia which got populated by a people who spoke a Thamizh dialect. Canaan (Kannan/ Kar vannan means dark-skinned) was the son of Ham. Egyptian civilization with Thamizh as its culture developed during this time. Etymological research hints that the languages spoken today by people of many North African countries have numerous Thamizh words. (Cameroon is Kamanoor! and the Berbers (Vara vara) speak a Thamizh dialect). People moved southward to the Congo basin from the Sahara Desert which started turning into an uninhabitable landmass.

The Americas and Australia were not even known then. These lands were discovered long afterward by modern seafarers like Columbus, Amerigo Vespucci, James Cook, and Tasman. But there were inhabitants there already when the so-called “civilized” criminals started occupying the lands. They are called the Aborigines. These “Red Indians” were the original people of the land and got separated from their mainland when the earth was divided (during the time of Peleg). The Aztec, Inca, and Mayan civilizations had been thriving in South America. All these civilizations have a deluge story to say and a shade of the Thamizh culture built in their respective religions.

Asia with Europe (Eurasia), the largest of these landmasses emerged as the land of human habitation. The population led by Murugan from Babel moved towards the east looking for their motherland, found the middle east growing hot and dry, moved further eastward, and settled around the Indus river basin – the most fertile region they came across. Indus Valley civilization thrived from then on – with the Thamizh culture and religion carried forward to this place. Even today, there are several cities and towns (ur/pur) in Pakistan, Afghanistan (capital Kandha-har, city Balamurug, and river Murugab!), and Northwest India bearing Thamizh names. Archaeological research activities in modern times at Aadhichanallur, Keezhadi, etc point to the Indus Valley civilization being Thamizh with the goddess worship, the idols, and human images et al. Satan was taken unawares by this turn of events. He thought bringing people together with one purpose would ruin the purpose of God. Now the scattered population would be a challenge despite his strategy to pollute the entire population with idol worship and phallus worship. Satan managed to distribute his seed to every nook and corner of the world. Everyone had his own god in the form of an idol at home. Did this strategy yield results?
