The Lord Jesus Christ ascended to heaven forty days after His resurrection and is currently seated at the right hand of the Majesty.

He is currently seated as Priest and King according to the order of Melchizedek so that He can continually plead for them in their weaknesses and infirmities. He has also shared His throne with His saints in the heavenly places so that they would rule and reign with Him and exercise their authority over the evil principalities and powers now.

• As the Great High Priest, He is interceding for His people here on earth who face trials and temptations. He knows what it is to be tempted as He, as a man, was tempted in every way as we are but yet without sin. So, He is able to help us in our temptations to face them and overcome them.

• As the undisputed King, He is ruling and reigning in His kingdom that was established on the day of Pentecost. This is a spiritual Kingdom and is extending its borders across nations, filling the earth as per Daniel’s vision. This Kingdom has received those who were in the kingdom of darkness but have come to His marvelous light. This is a heavenly kingdom and all believers have their citizenship here.

• As the Compassionate Advocate and Mediator, He speaks for His people when they fall into sin but return to Him with genuine repentance for forgiveness.

• As Victor and Conqueror, He is now waiting for all His enemies to be put under His feet – that includes death (which He has already conquered) which will be the final enemy and will be overcome by His chosen ones at the long-awaited event called Rapture.

• As their Lord, He is preparing a place for His disciples; He will gather them there, to live with Him forever. He is also preparing His disciples for this place. It is for this reason that He asked the Father Who sent His Holy Spirit to abide with them while they are here on this earth. They are made fit for that glorious place by the continuous sanctification of their spirit, soul, and body and by the transformation of their minds.

• As the Great Shepherd, He is bringing more sheep into His fold, tending and caring for them, feeding and protecting them from their enemies, and carrying His lambs in His bosom. He gives them abundant life by leading them through green pastures and quiet waters. His sheep shall not want!

• As the divine Physician, He cures not only physical ailments and diseases by His stripes but more importantly He heals broken hearts, treats their wounds, and revives them with His soothing love.

• As the inexhaustible Provider and Sustainer, He keeps supplying grace to His ministers who trust Him for their everyday needs to live a holy life. He is also continuously nourishing them with His word so that they can bear much fruit and keep growing to His stature to attain to His nature. He also keeps His people satisfied with enough food and clothing and all the needs and necessities of this earthly life.

• As the powerful Enabler, He is equipping His servants with His Spirit to be witnesses in this sin-filled world and to preach the gospel to every creature so that all the chosen ones would come into His saving grace. Thankfully, He has also given them His authority.

• As the Heavenly Bridegroom, He is getting ready His bride by sanctifying and cleansing the Church with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself as a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that she should be holy and without blemish.

• As the Just Judge, He is getting ready rewards for not only the righteous and the holy but also punishment for the unjust and the filthy.
