More deceptions in His-story: Education
Section III

Providing the best education to children remains the topmost priority of parents today. They will find the best schools and colleges for their sons and daughters even if it costs them a fortune. The only motivating factor is to give them a comfortable life. Ironically, it is for the same reason that the parents were educated and sent to work which day-to-day added discomfort and increased the threat to their very existence.

• All education is more inclined towards information technology – there are very few takers for traditional trades and occupations – agriculture, farming, textile, building, teaching, homemaking, and healthcare – all basics for the sustenance of human life. Christian children are forced to pursue IT-based courses with the aim to earn a higher standard of living, (snobbish, of course!) that can help them keep up with the Joneses.

• The mainstream education for a large population in the world (developing nations) is designed to qualify them for a rut that will enable them to land a job in a big multinational company (MNC) or a local business owned by a large family or a public company run by a local government with an investment from the public – predominantly rich businessmen. The employment pays a meager salary/wages to the employee but keeps filling the coffers of the employer making them richer by the second. Christian children are brought up in this mindset by their parents and as a result, are flowing with the tide to work in BPOs and IT companies that pay them more than the core jobs that they were educated for.

• The education system is also designed to create a frame of mind that is inclined towards more money-making and this, by shedding blood-sweat. And after accumulating more and more wealth, the person finds little time and opportunity to enjoy his earnings – his health deteriorating to levels where he can neither eat nor drink or move around and live life as he pleases. Christian families also fall prey to this snare. They end up in deep debt by spending more than they earn and by piling up assets based on their future income. Christian children are not taught to live a satisfied life well below their means always in anticipation of the return of the Lord which is what the Scriptures recommend but is given little or no importance.

• The education system takes God out of the purview of the young minds. It teaches them that man evolved from animals and so man is a civilized monkey. So, they believe there is no Creator, there are no absolute moral standards and every idea is relative – to the time, to the situation, and to the individual. Christian children are brought up in this dangerous atmosphere (in real life and TV/films) not being warned of the short-term as well as eternal consequences.

o Lying is OK as long as it produces a desired result for that moment irrespective of the outcomes to the liar/ others then or later.
o Murder is OK as long as the victim is worthy of death in the murderer’s sight.
o Whoredom and living-in relationship is OK as long as the sensual drive is satisfied by this (abominable) lifestyle
o Adultery is OK as long as the individuals consent mutually to the act/relationship (and, unfortunately, it is legal in India today).
o Homosexual lifestyle is OK as long as this doesn’t happen in our family
o Theft, swindling money, and usury at humongous interest rates are OK even if the sufferer is an individual, a bank, an organization, or the country itself.
o Not caring for parents is OK as long as some money is sent for their sustenance or are admitted to an old-age home.
o Lusting after others’ possessions (money, position, spouse) is OK as long as the other party is unaware of it.
o Children watching sexually explicit and blasphemous content in TV or films is OK as long as they are kept busy and not interfering in the personal lives of parents.

As long as the ends are satisfying, the means are of little concern. The ends will justify the means. Folly!
