Chapter 135
Enrolment of His last citizen in His Kingdom
Section IV

Jesus established His Kingdom on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit descended upon the 120 believers who had gathered in the upper room in Jerusalem. Everyone who receives Him as Lord and King becomes citizens of His Kingdom. “Our conversation (citizenship) is in Heaven” – Phil 3:20 says Paul to the Philippian believers. While these citizens are still living here on this earth, it is only a colony of Satan which he has managed to occupy through force. Believers might be called “citizens” in the world, but they are not of the world. They originally belong to their heavenly kingdom where Jesus reigns as King. Jesus is eagerly looking forward to the last citizen of this Kingdom being enrolled so that He can step out of heaven to take His waiting people Home.
