I saw, I came, I conquered, I AM coming
A short (auto)biography of the Lord Jesus Christ
Chapter 26
Vini - I came
To the Religious Jews
• Whoever does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who sent Him.
• Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life
• I seek not my own will but the will of Him who sent me
• Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
• For an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear His voice and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.
• The bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh
• Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her (to the crowd that brough a woman caught in adultery)
• I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life
• you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
• Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin.
• If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
• You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
• Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death
• Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am
• For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.
• Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep
• The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
• I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
• And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one Shepherd.
• I lay down my life that I may take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again.
• My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one.
• The Father is in me and I am in the Father.
