Does media contribute to the destruction of Christian homes?

Today’s media is owned by barons who determine what the public should see, hear and think about. They shape the mind of the young and the old – even babies. The advent of web 3.0 has brought about information explosion (Dan 12:4) resulting in easily producing and rapidly publishing all kinds of information. Technology boom has led to “knowledge explosion” that can be accessed through any device of the users’ choice.

Books for building the human personality, religion and social behaviour are spewed out in millions that contain content on morality and civilized behaviour required for building successful careers (Robin Sharma?) but most of it throw God out of the window. Some books targeted at children (Harry Potter?) also prime them for a life of occult, magic and witchcraft.

TV shows bind people to the “idiot box” the content of which encourages divorce, polygamy, adultery, whoredom, homosexuality, wantonness, rage, murder and suicide and teaches arts of deception, consumption of drugs, smoking and drinking, corruption and every kind of anti-social behaviour – even easy and painless ways to commit suicide.

Films introduce various dimensions of occult and evil in the name of fiction and creativity and present all vices as normal human behaviour. The current generation’s attitude and mindset are determined by these films. Flashing of warnings about the evils of smoking and drinking are contradictory to the actual depiction of them as high-class, luxury and trendy.
