How can Adam’s sin become the sin of mankind? How can Adam’s sin be counted against every man post Adam? How is it “by one-man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so, death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” – Rom 5:12.

Every one of us were in Adam when he sinned! Levi was in Abraham when he paid tithe to Melchizedek, says the Bible.

Thank God, when Jesus was on the cross, the chosen ones were in Him. God put us in Christ. So, when Jesus died on the cross, I died too. Paul says, “I am crucified with Christ”. Every believer was joined to him in His death, His burial and His resurrection. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him. – Rom 6:8. Jesus’ righteousness is accounted as mine too. If I am in Christ, then He is also my wisdom, sanctification and redemption and this is wrought by God Himself.
