Yes and No.

One can’t point fingers at Adam solely for the curse that the earth has fallen into. Nor can man feel disheartened in the claim that but for Adam, the world would have been a better place. While sin entered the world through Adam, everyone of us has a will of our own and can still exercise it. But man is totally corrupt; this is evident from the fact that, given a choice, one always tends to do evil than good. Why blame poor Adam?
