'Cleanliness is godliness' is a cliché today. There are special drives instituted by governments (Swatch Bharath in India) to clean the environment and the surroundings to make it fit for human habitation. However, the cleanliness in thought, word and deed is taking a backseat with morals being compromised in every nook and corner of the society.

Christian parents fail to teach their children the importance of keeping their minds (soul) clean from the filth of the world. They are not forewarned of the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life. Certainly, sin is closely surrounding us and does so easily beset us – Heb 12:1 but parents don’t teach their children this lesson anymore.
