Is Jesus the Father?

No. Jesus is the Son. While Isa 9:6 (the only instance in the scriptures) states that the Son (also mentioned in the same verse) will be called the Father, scripture must be interpreted by scripture.

Jesus Christ is God and so, eternal. So, divinity is attributed to Him in this verse; this, in line with the statement of Jesus “I and My Father are One” – John 10:30 and “he that hath seen Me hath seen the Father. – John 14:9. The Father and the Son are one in substance but different in persons. Jesus Christ is the Son of God – the perfect representation of the Father in human form.

While Jesus is divine, as a human-being, He set aside His divine attributes to confine Himself in a body. Anyone who does not confess His humanity does not have eternal life but is an antichrist. However, this revelation does not come to one unless the Son reveals it to the individual. – Matt 11:27.
