Rock-and-roll and popular music have gained an important place in the lives of people but most of these are meaningless renditions or songs filled with abominable words, phrases and statements that pollute the individual mind with vulgarity and blasphemies against God.

Christian songs of today contain little or no spiritual sense – they are often repetition of older songs – more focused on worship by lips than from the heart. Some seemingly good ones also have themes of pacifying the tearful ones – not edifying the spirit and the soul. Indian film songs are the equivalent of the English rock music – a lot of them filled with sexually explicit contents but adults and children are equally encouraged to sing such songs on competitive platforms and in the open shamelessly. Many Christian families have Rock and pop music collections as an alternative for Indian film songs, but little do they realise that both are evil.
