Is the worship of modern churches biblical?

No. Worship in modern-day churches are far from being biblical.

Worship is a time of loud and speed-singing with heavy music (with the rhythm section in the lead) and emotional experiences with outcomes like shivering, shouting, dancing, laughing, barking and howling. The “minister” dispenses the “spirit” by touching the gullible “bhaktas” with their DVDs, books, coats or just plain hands. “Believers” with no born-again experience receive “the anointment” and fall being “slain” in the “spirit”.

The word of God instructs, “Let all things be done decently and in order”. It is not the minister who dispenses the Spirit; it is the Lord Himself. And, the Holy Spirit is a “gift” and is intended for the born-again believer to receive comfort, strength and instruction. The Spirit can’t be used as a marketing tool for DVDs and books. Animal noises, “holy” laughter and vomiting black stuff are satanic. LOL and ROFL is not “filling”.

And worship is not some activity done during a particular time on a Sunday morning or Friday evening. Worship is also called service. And, a believer is expected to be in service to the Lord all the time. Paul writes that there is a 'reasonable service'. "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service". - Rom 12:1.
