Each one is a precious stone. The wall itself is Jasper / Diamond – firm, transparent and shining. The gospel of Jesus and the doctrine of Christ that these apostles preached and taught, which are contained in the New Testament, are still the foundation, the boundaries and framework of the New Testament Church. "...and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone; in Whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto a holy temple in the Lord: in Whom ye also are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit". – Eph 2:20-22. We must pray for the peace of this New Jerusalem, not the Old which is in bondage even now.
