Hell is not the ultimate destination of Satan, his evil angels and the citizens of his kingdom – the kingdom of darkness. The lake of fire burning with brimstone is!

Hell is the place for the unbelieving old testament humans are. It is also the place of the evil spirits, demons and the agents of Satan. (The legion of demons beseeched Jesus not to send them to this place). Hell is a temporary location where Satan was confined to after his defeat at the cross. The devil’s authority was seized by Jesus Christ who confined him to the bottomless pit. That is why Jesus sent His disciples with this assurance – “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world”. – Matt 28:18-20.
