Where in the world do we get the reverential word 'Aiah'?
“Aiah” is a Thamizh suffix to names to address people with the utmost respect which is seen not only in Thamizh names but also in Jewish names like Jeremiah, Zechariah. Remember that “Yah” or “YHWH” in Hebrew also means “the Lord God”, a very reverent term to denote God but later got attached to men’s names who are (wrongly) considered “gods” post their death.
