Even today, most of the Indians think that Roman Catholics are the Christians of India, but their attacks are targeted towards the entire Christian community with most of the sufferers being genuine believers who are doing the missionary work with real love in their hearts. In fact, it was the Roman Catholic religion that was enticing the local Indians to convert to their religion (not Christianity) by offering them money, social recognition and status by breaking away from the stereotyped Daliths.
