Why are many towns in India named with a 'nagar' suffix?

Egyptian civilization of North Africa (close to the Asian continent), Sumerian civilization and the Assyrian civilization started taking shape around Babel where God confused the language of the people and more languages started emerging. Ur was a Sumerian city which was the native of Abraham and Job. Ur is still found in Syria.

Thamizhar moved from the Middle East to the Indian sub-continent until they reached the southern tipoff the land mass.

Incidentally Ur is Thamizh (and so is Nagar/Nagaram from Naagar / Navar, the name of Thamizhar). Srinagar, Gandhinagar, Indore (Indur), Dispur, Thrissur are other examples. Nagar is 'city' in Thamizh. All cities created by Thamizhar are names with the Nagar suffix. Many such cities and towns still exist even in Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
