People who are used to a life in the dark refuse to come to the light because they love that life in darkness than the true Light Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the light of the world and He will remain so as long as He is here in the hearts of His believers. (Gautama Buddha was called the Light of Asia who sadly, failed to find light in his own life. It is probably about such Teachers that Jesus said blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. – Matt 15:14).

In Jesus was life and the life was the light of men. Darkness is absence of light. God did not create darkness. Sin brought darkness into the world even in the beginning. Since the advent of Jesus, people who lived in darkness have seen a great light. This Light lights every man that comes into the world. Then does one become the light of the world himself as the Light dwells in him / her. Light has dual nature – waves and packets. Jesus is 100% God and 100% man.
