The British and the other Europeans who colonised India made the local Christian converts to adopt western clothing, English language and religious worship in Roman Catholic Churches built in western style. There was a serious cultural clash and they were are accused of westernising the country through their language, education system, printing technology, their fashion and their lifestyle.
