Will Satan repent, and be accepted by God in the future?

Satan will not repent as is evident by his repeated attempts to thwart the Purpose of God – as you have read in the preceding chapters. Satan’s destiny is sealed because he deliberately sinned against God by trying to usurp God’s throne and position. He wanted to become God because he thought he possessed all that was required to become God – wisdom, beauty and power. (Sadly for Satan, God has much more attributes and characteristics that only He can possess. His nature itself is entirely different from His creation. That is why He is called “Holy” or unique and “separate” from His creation.

Satan became proud and did not submit to God wilfully but wanted to do his own will. So, God wanted to demonstrate to him and to all those angels (one third of the total) who were cast out from heaven what they have lost by rebelling against Him and what would be the reward if His creation (two third of them who remained loyal to God as well as the Supreme creation mankind) submitted their will to Him wilfully / wholeheartedly.
