John saw another angel. He was a striking representation of the Lord Himself. The angel was powerful, pure and emanating glory. His head signified a covenant. His feet were like pillar of fire. He set his right foot upon the sea and his left foot on the earth. He had a little open book in his hand. His voice was loud as a roaring lion. When he spoke, seven thunders uttered their voices. Though John understood the voices, a voice stopped John and commanded him not to write what he heard. He was ordered to seal up the content. John should not reveal them. Would it be revealed at an appropriate time later?

Daniel of the Old Testament also was instructed by an angel to shut up his words and seal up a book to the time of the end. The Holy Spirit would reveal this to His people when it is due. The ‘time of the end’ is already here (from 1948/1967) and the end time events are already revealed and unfolding before our eyes. Except the Lord who spoke about the fig tree blossoming and shooting forth a tender branch to signal the ushering in of the time of the end, none even dreamt that Israel would become an independent country and that it would take control of Jerusalem. All interpretation of end-time prophecy before this turning point at the most has been guesswork. Unfortunately, all end-time messages are based on books written from the 19th and 20th centuries. Many are popular best sellers among preachers. Very few pastors receive messages from the Lord to feed their flock! Pathetic.
Then, the angel lifted up his hand and swore by the Lord God Who created everything. He announced that there would be no more time. Eternity would begin from then on!

But before that something extremely significant should happen.

There is a pending trumpet, the seventh one. When this angel starts sounding his trumpet, the mystery of God would be finished. God has already declared this mystery to His prophets. It is His eternal purpose that will be fulfilled at the last trump. His Church would join Him. God would bring more sons to glory. All ungodly will be judged. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness (evangelists and soulwinners) as the stars for ever and ever. God’s enemies and His chief adversary Satan would face their doom at the lake of fire and brimstone. And when He that lives forever shall have accomplished to ‘scatter the power of the holy people’, all these things shall be finished. Jews were the ‘holy people’ of Daniel’s day. God would shatter the power of these Jews by breaking their arrogance. The evil spiritual powers behind the pride of the antichristian Jews who are strongly supported by the false prophet the USA will be conclusively destroyed.

The voice bid John to go take the little open book from the angel. The angel gave John the book and asked him to eat it – a book meant to be eaten and digested (understood and comprehended), not to be just viewed and read. The content of the book would be bitter to taste –nauseating. So, it was honey-coated (softened) to make it palatable.

John ate the book. But for the honey-coating, John would have vomited it. It was very disgusting. However, it was like medicine for the belly. It prepared him for an important task. Though it would be frightening, John would be able to bear the message without the ‘churn’ in his stomach.

The angel said that John should prophecy again. This time it would be before the gentiles. The content of the prophecy would be horrible too. Long time ago, another prophet Ezekiel was asked to eat a scroll. He prophesied to the impudent and hard-hearted Israelites of the day. Ezekiel was also commanded to eat bread baked using human faeces!

John was asked to repeat what he had been doing: Prophesy. Only this time, it would be a different audience: many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings – all gentiles and people at large and their leaders – Presidents, Prime Ministers, Dictators, Chief Ministers, Governors, Business Owners and the like.
