Chapter 15
The victorious ones and the Temple of God in Heaven

John saw a great and marvellous sign in heaven: Seven angels having the seven last plagues stored in seven vials each filled with the wrath of the ever-living God. He would judge the ungodly world justly.
John also saw another scene. The victorious ones over the beast, his image, his mark and his number were standing on a sea of glass. This is the presence of God. God dwells among His people. This sea of glass was also mingled with fire (of the holy mount of God?). They were the believing generation. The believers have attained a state of transparency that they would let their Lord’s light shine through them. No absorption. Clear as water. Neervannam in Tamil; it is the ultimate state of bliss that the eastern religions talk about – Nirvana.
These people were having the harps of God. They sang the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb. These are the believing line of Israel and the Church. They praised the Great Lord God Almighty, the King of saints saying all people shall fear Him, and all nations shall come and worship before Him. His judgments are made manifest. He is the Holy One; there is none beside Him. Everyone would glorify His name.
Following this, John saw the temple in heaven open and the seven angels coming out of it. One of those told John that he was his fellow servant and of his brethren the prophets and of them that keep the sayings of this book. One of the living creatures gave these angels a vial each. They would pour out the wrath of God. God will judge the earth through His servants!
The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power. No man could enter it until the seven plagues were fulfilled. Souls would not be saved during this time. The accepted time and the day of salvation would have been over. The seven plagues would be unleashed on the unbelieving ungodly. Only after this would the new earth and new heaven emerge. New Jerusalem would descend from the third heaven. Then, there would be no temple there. God would live among His people. Lo, the tabernacle of God would be with men!
