The Babylon the great in smokes!

Much people in heaven, said, “Alleluia, salvation, glory, honour, and power unto the Lord our God. For true and righteous are His judgments”. God would judge the great whore USA. The USA has corrupted the earth so much with its manifold power that the inhabitants of the earth were drunk with the wine. They are in an inebriated condition that they cannot think soberly. The USA dragged them away from God and His purpose. People became infidels and unfaithful showing their back to God to hold on to ‘mammon’. God would judge the ‘world power’ and avenge the blood of His servants that fell victim to its high-handedness.

Twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshipped God, agreeing with the people of heaven, “So be it. Praise the Lord”. They agreed that His judgements are true and righteous.

The smoke of Babylon, the great whore, rose up for ever and ever. So great is the abomination that the USA has caused in the world that the punishment will be equally severe and unending.

A voice came out of the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear Him, both small and great”.

Marriage of the Lamb is here!

The voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunders was heard, saying, “Alleluia, for the Lord God Omnipotent reigns. Let us be glad and rejoice and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready”. The long-awaited event of the ages is here! It is the time (?) when the betrothed bride becomes the Lamb’s wife. To her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Jesus is their righteousness, and this was imputed to them at their Salvation experience.

The Bridegroom had been sanctifying this bride and cleansing her with the washing of water by His word while she was on earth, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that she should be holy and without blemish. What blessing! What privilege! What glory!

Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. Would this be the Old Testament Saints till John the Baptist? (They are not the ‘Bride’). John the Baptist might be the friend (Bestman?) of the Groom, standing beside Him and sharing His joy. Jesus said so about him while ministering on earth.

John commits a blunder!

The angel (one of the seven who had a vial each in their hand?) who showed these things to John said, ”Write, these are the true sayings of God”. John fell at the angel’s feet to worship him. And the angel said unto John, “Don’t do this. I am your fellow-servant, and of your brethren that have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy”. This might be the same instance mentioned in chapter twenty-two. (Even today, the so-called believers make pastors, preachers, and evangelists their idols, over and above the Lord Himself and so, have been a cause for the downfall of many ministers. This incident also means that none is an exception to vulnerabilities, however spiritual and experienced they might be).

The long-fought battle finally ends!

John saw the open Heaven. This timeframe is the ‘recent past’ for John and the ‘past’ for us. The veil that separated mankind from God was rent from top to bottom on the day when Jesus finished His redemption work on the cross. God did this, opening the way to His holy presence. Believers can approach the throne of grace boldly to obtain mercy and help in time of need from God because of the shed Blood.

Jesus, called ‘the Word of God’ and ‘Faithful and True’, sitting on a white horse, set out as KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS to rule with a rod of iron – strict, severe, and uncompromising. He has been ruling on earth among His believers in His Church as they enforce His authority and power over the evil domain of Satan. He, through His saints, would judge righteously and make war with the nations – the antichristian population and the people of the world who were and are being deceived by them. The false prophet USA is the latest inclusion to this ‘enemy’. (And is this book PTFP a spiritual weapon hurled against the Antichrists and the False prophet to bring down strongholds?)

The armies, already seated in heavenly places as per Paul to the Ephesian church, follow Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean – the righteousness of the saints. (This army is the same ‘wife’ that would get ready for her marriage with ‘the Lamb’ – Who is she that looks forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners?) They go forward conquering as the Conqueror goes before them. He had given His saints His power and authority to overcome evil. This was when His disciples spread out to preach the gospel. This runs parallel with the opening of the first seal by the Lamb in chapter six.

The vesture of the KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS dipped in blood and the crowns on His head signify that He conquered death by shedding His blood. His eyes penetrate the heart to see its motives - why people do something than what they do. He had a name written on His vesture and His thigh that no man knew, but He Himself. He smites the nations with His Word as that of a sword and bids them bow to Him. He treads the unbelieving as that of a winepress with fierceness as the wrath of Almighty God is upon them. This coterminates with chapter fourteen.

All those deceived by the beast and the false prophet – kings, captains, mighty men, horses and them that sat on them, all men free, bond, small and great – become a feast for the principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places – all evil powers in the first heaven. It is a supper of the great God - God sends them a great delusion as they refused to receive the truth and the Light. An angel standing in the sun invited the evil powers for this ‘supper’. This might be the last meal they will have – a sumptuous ‘supper’ indeed. Souls of men would be their food. However, it would soon be dawn and the Sun (The Lord Jesus Christ) will rise for ever on the Saints of God.

The beast (the antichristian kingdom of the Jews and the Muslims), and the kings of the earth (that let the beast rule), and their armies, gathered to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army of evangelists and saints. Interestingly, the USA is not mentioned here. The great Babylon would have lost its primary place by then. Would the Afghan episode prove a truning point, a turn for the worse?

The beast (the antichristian Jewish population and the Islamic world) was taken; with him the false prophet (the USA) that wrought miracles before the beast was also taken. The USA deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

And the remnant was slain with the sword of the Rider, the sword proceeding out of His mouth: and all the fowls (evil spirits) were filled with their flesh (were elated with the death of the unbelieving kind). Cheap pleasure!
