An angel with a great chain and a key to the bottomless pit came down from heaven. (Jesus now holds the keys of death and hell as per chapter one. He usurped these from Satan when He descended to a portion of hell (that held the believing ones) after His bodily death on the cross and raised in His spirit. He went there, set the captives there free and then later lead the train to heaven).

As heaven, hell, the new earth and new heaven are real places, the bottomless pit is a real place too. So too is the lake of fire and brimstone. Bottomless is infinite depth from which Satan cannot escape. It is also the most unsatiated place that keeps swallowing souls. No pit on the earth qualifies for this because there is always a bottom for every pit dug here. So, hell is not in Siberia! It could well be below the earth and its galactical plane in space. Satan was extremely angry with the believing remnant who were testifying and spreading the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the world. He went after them to drown them with a flood of deception. The last three and a half years of the four hundred and ninety years of the Jews of Daniel nine was when he could do this. Not after that. The angel laid hold on the Dragon, bound him, casts him into the bottomless pit, shut him up and set a seal upon him. The Devil keeps falling and his fall continues incessantly.

It was from then on, that the gentiles who were earlier deceived by him started entering the Church of God that Jesus started to build. The gates of hell have not been able to prevail against the Church. Satan could not deceive the nations anymore with his lies. Millions have been saved. The Lord has been in total control of the Dragon during this long time – signified by the number thousand. Note ‘a thousand hills’ of Psalm fifty and ‘a thousand generations’ of Psalm one hundred and five.

The beheaded are all New Testament believers who have sacrificed themselves to receive Christ as their Head and united with Him in the likeness of His death – for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God. They refused to accept Satan as their god and so, neither possessed by the evil spirits nor partnered with him in the works of the flesh. They sit upon thrones to judge; they lived (1st Resurrection) and reigned with Christ for a thousand years – a long time (from Pentecost to 1948). The Spirit quickened them from their sins and their trespasses. They were united with their Lord in the likeness of His Resurrection. They were then seated in heavenly places to rule and reign with Him. Paul mentions this in Ephesians chapter two. (As per the popular but wrong view of many eschatologists, the beheaded are those who died as martyrs. However, there are a lot many believers who have died as martyrs differently. Would they not be a part of this group?)

Satan has been loosed out of his prison for a short time (closely before the time of the end / hour of temptation – the commencement of the time of the fig tree of Matt 24 becoming tender and putting forth branches, the blossoming of Israel – 1948 and 1967). A huge number of gentiles were saved during the Philadelphia church time till then.

Satan has now gone out to deceive the nations (if possible, even the elect) which are in the four quarters of the earth to gather them together for battle (1948 / 1967 to 2027 / 2028). He has managed to gather around him almost the whole world through his deception viz., Why submit to God if you can be your own god? Man of sin, the son of perdition is now sitting in the thrones of men’s hearts, meant to be the temple of God, to show himself as God. New age philosophy!

However, there is another lie that Satan has managed to spit out from the bottomless pit in these last days. He has also succeeded substantially by making the believers ‘believe’ that they have no power over his dark kingdom now and that they must wait for a non-existent future ‘millennium’ to exercise their authority over him and his allies. He says to them, “Sleep”.

The so called ‘believers’ of today have ‘believed’ this lie and are remaining passive, not realising the power they have over the enemy and the responsibility of subduing the enemy camp with the authority that their Lord has sent them with.

Gog and Magog (agents of Satan) go up on the breadth of the earth, and compass the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city New Jerusalem. This is mentioned in Ezekiel chapter thirty-eight and thirty-nine. They have managed to surround the believers that live in every corner of the world with an intention to destroy them spiritually and physically. However, God will catch them up before destruction is sent down. He will save the Church from the wrath that will be poured out on the ungodly inhabitants of the earth. God will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth as per Romans Nine. He might not wait for the hour of temptation to run its full course. He might wind these up even before 2027 / 2028 which is eighty years (as per Moses’s Psalm Ninety) from 1948 or sixty years as per a duration of one hour from 1967.

As per Daniel twelve, AD 686+1335=AD 2021;AD 688+1335=AD 2023. The Lord might come by this time to take home His people, New Jerusalem. (I am not dogmatic here; just that it is lot more probable). They will gather first in the clouds and then remain with the Lord wherever He goes, first to the earth to judge, and then to heaven for the event of the ages, the marriage of the Lamb. Then, they will come down to the new earth where they will remain with their Lord forever. They follow the Lamb wherever He leads them.

Fire comes down from God out of heaven (a global meteor shower? Apophis throwing down all artificial satellites?) and devours them. No weapon of Satan’s allies will prevail. God is in control!

The devil that deceived them will be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast / antichristian kingdom and the false prophet (the ungodly USA) are (Rev 19:20). He shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

God, the righteous Judge, sits on a great white throne to judge the dead. The dead (1st death – in sin), small and great, stand before God; the sea, death, and hell give up the dead (all unbelievers) which are in them.

The books and another, the book of life, were opened. The dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. God keeps record of everyone and every one of our works. Not that He cannot remember but it is for our sake as proof so none would have an opportunity to dispute. Should we not fear Him?

(1) Death (also an angel, as mentioned in Exodus and elsewhere), (2) hell (all its inhabitants including the fallen angels, the evil principalities, powers, ‘sons of God’ of Noah’s time) and (3) whosoever was not found written in the book of life – mankind – were cast into the lake of fire – 2nd death.

The present earth and the heavens will flee away; there would be no place for them. They must give way to new heavens and the new earth. It might be geographically like the same earth that was revamped after everything in it was destroyed. One of these heavens might be the first heaven – the atmosphere. It might be very much like how God replenished the original earth that was without form and void before God commanded light to shine and when Time came into being. The water canopy around the new earth might be installed as there would be no sea.
