John continues to write his vision of the throne-room of heaven.

God holds a scroll in His right hand. It has content written on both its faces. Sadly, none could read the content. It has seven seals that somebody worthy must break. One can read the content of the book one portion at a time only after he breaks each of the seals. Thankfully, all the seven seals have been broken for us to know.

God holds time in His powerful hand. He has always controlled His-Story. He planned the future even before the foundation of the world. The mystery of God was sealed by Daniel as per the Lord’s instructions. It would be sealed till the time of the end. The seals might represent spirits. (The Bible relates seal to spirit. Believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit who reveals the Scripture to us; Antichrists are sealed by the evil spirits forcing them to think (foreheads) and perform (arms) evil deeds).

[Until it is a time, times and half a time of Daniel twelve (1000+1000+500 years from the time of the Jews or the beginning of the seventy weeks=years of Daniel nine), none would know the facts contained in the scroll. As the scroll is sealed till the time of the end, many would run to and fro to know what is contained in the scroll; none would be able to interpret the symbols contained in the scroll. most of the ‘knowledge’ that they would ‘reveal’ would be hypotheses, presumptions, and assumptions. This explosion of knowledge has given birth to millions of ‘apocalypse’ books, some turning out as best sellers. The time of the end began in the year 1948, the year when the fig tree Israel blossomed (became an independent country (not a nation!) defying the curse of our Lord. It could also be the year 1967 when it put forth tender branches – complete control of Jerusalem].

[The end of these things will begin one thousand two hundred and ninety days=years from 686-688 AD the period when ‘the abomination that maketh desolate’ – the Al Aqsa Mosque – began to be set up. This end began in 1976/1978 AD. In 1976 AD the G6 became G7. Blessed are those who wait and come to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days=years. This is AD 2021/23 from 1976/1978. These are the many ‘understanding’ ‘wise’ who have been purified, made white and tried. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some (unbelieving) to shame and everlasting contempt].

A strong angel proclaimed, “Who is worthy to open the book and loose the seals thereof?”. John wept much because there was no man worthy to even see the book let alone break its seals to read its contents.

One of the elders came to John and comforted him. He said that the Lion of the tribe of Judah and the Seed of the believing generation has prevailed. Jesus is the Victor. He is the Only One who can open the book. He can break its seals and reveal the information contained in it which has remained a mystery all along.

The devil has already received a death blow to his head. The Lord Jesus crushed him under His feet. He shattered the power of the enemy. The Lord’s resurrection was the turning point. He has triumphed over the evil principalities and powers. He usurped the keys of death and hell from Satan. His angel cast Satan into a bottomless pit and put him in chains for a long period. During this time, the people of the world or the gentiles started coming into the saving grace of the Lord.

The Lord’s disciples started exercising His authority over the evil powers. The Lord equips them to deliver people from the chains that bind them. They also bind the agents of Satan with chains.

Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, stands in the midst of the throne room. He is the Lamb slain even before the foundation of the world. He died in time for the sin of all mankind. He shed His precious blood to redeem sinners that had sold themselves out to Satan. He is perfect in power and has perfect knowledge of the heart of man. The Spirit of God in Him sees deep within. He is the center of attraction and the focus of the elders, the spirit beings, and everyone around.

He has paid the price to redeem the believers that come from every kindred, language, people and nation. Earlier Satan owned them when they were in their sinful state. Now, they belong to God because the Lord has bought their forgiveness through His shed blood.

Christ established His kingdom on earth on the day of Pentecost. This day was fifty days after His resurrection, ten days after His ascension. The Spirit of God descended on the believers, empowering them to be the Lord's witnesses. They would preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. He will bring people out of the kingdom of darkness. Except the Lord Jesus Christ, there is none nor has been anybody strong enough to break the powers of the evil one. Since Jesus is the Conqueror, these evil powers cannot deceive people anymore. He is breaking the seals to reveal information about events that will lead to the culmination of this age. It was time for all mysteries relating to His creation, especially mankind, would be exposed. John would record them. (Many such mysteries related to the Church were revealed by the Lord to apostle Paul that appear in his various epistles).

The Lamb took the book from the Sovereign God's hand Who held all authority. Then, the living creatures and the elders fell before the Lamb to worship Him. They also sang a new song about the Lamb being worthy to take the book and open its seals. It is new because, the resurrection of the Lord thoroughly affirmed that He is the Son of God. This scene in heaven was happening after He was glorified.

The living creatures and the elders played their music during this worship. God created music so that His creation would use it to worship Him. (The enemy perverted it in an attempt to thwart God’s purpose). They also offered incense from the vials they held. The sweet-smelling odours are the prayers and praises of the saints.

Until then, even the angels did not know that Jesus would fulfil the purpose of God. God hid His purpose in Himself until it was time for its revelation. A multitude of angels stood around the throne too. They also sang about the Lamb being worthy. He is worthy to receive all power, riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory, and blessing.

All creation in heaven, on the earth and under it, in the sea and all those in them (?) joined the angels to worship Him. John heard them say blessing, honour, glory and power are unto the invisible God and the visible Lamb. These belong to Him for ever and ever. The four living creatures and the twenty-four elders that represent the believing multitude agreed with them. They fell down again and worshipped the eternal God.
